this were the type of diabetes you suffered from, if anything
this is probably more important.
By making a gestational diabetes diet you are going to be
altering the diet you have now and making sure that you are
eating all the right foods. The purpose of the gestational
diabetes diet is to keep the diabetes condition under control
as much as possible until baby is born, so that both mother and
baby are in the best health and at the least amount of
risk.
In a gestational diabetes diet, it is going to be vital that
you include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. These are what
are going to provide you and your little one with vitamins and
minerals that are essential for you both to strive.
It is also important to eat whole grain breads and cereals
which are very healthy for you, as is milk. Although you would
probably try to drink skim milk which is the type of milk that
has the least amount of fat, when you are pregnant you need
these fats so you want to drink homo milk.
